Petronas Youngstars Day 2015 Experianced

Assalamuaaikum semua.

So today I wanna share about my experienced being interviewed for Petronas scholarship.

I guess this is the last interview for Pre U scholar for me. Dapat tak dapat tu rezeki lah kan. So I just try for it. Firstly korang akan dapat invitation ke Petronas Youngstar Day (PYD).

So actualy Im not expecting that this is the interview for scholar but it is! After so many research from previous blogs about PYD la.

So hari indah ini aku mengenakan baju tong gas kepunyaan Qist (hadiah actually).

And aku mengambil semangat Qist daripada baju tersebut ceh. Yela memandangkan yang interview pihak2 tong gas kan kahkahkah (gurau). And lepas subuh suam2 kuku tu aku terus gerak ke Taylors Lakeside College (mengharapkan Taylor Lautner tunggu depan pagar. Malangnya pak cik2 guard drpd Negara serumpun yang menunggu kedatangan ku)

Okay cut the crap. Hahaha. So dia banyak station untuk diinterview. Ade dekat KL ade dekat Sarawak. And setiap hari ade 100 lebih yang kene interview dekat setiap station and bayangkan kalau bende ni seminggu or dua minggu agak2nya berapa ramai yang mintak Petronas and agak2 probability nak dapat tu susah ke senang? So have faith. kebanyakkan yang interview dengan aku budak2 utara. So no doubt la. Kesian die org ade yang tidur hotel, tompang rumah sedara untuk sampai ke sini.

Okay firstly bende pertama aku buat baca doa. Then masuk lecture hall untuk registration.

And then they will give you a breakfast goodies then all of you will wait in another lecture hall. Duduk situ diam2 wifi alang2 free tu try reck the nerves dengan online. Tak pun prepare ape yang patut. Baca pasal case study ke ape ke.

Then when they asked you to ready that’s mean dah sampai laa masa nya. (after 2 hours menunggu akhrnyaaaa)Dubdabdubdab.then they will substitute you in numbers of group and in the group will be 4-6 peoples campur boys and girls.

So siapa rasa tak boleh nak kerjasama dengan different gender, sila lah jangan begitu. Buangla tabiat malu yg tidak bertempat dan be nice to others. Then the fasi will escort you to a preparation room. Its like an exam room. They will give you a piece of paper that contains the tittle of the case study. In my case, I got, ADS – Advertisment. Then you have to prep yourself. Alone with no help of internet.

They way of interview is in personally and in group. Then after preparation time, you will be escort to another room. Panjangkan perjalanan dia aduhh aku dah laa masa tu dubdab kene berjalan lagi.

Firstly they will ask you to enter the room one by one. And they will ask you some cliché question about yourself, your curriculums, and everything that are listed in the borang that u had isi masa daftar online. So be yourself and do as much as you could to sell yourself. Embrace yourself. Then they will ask you to give your opinion on the given task of the case study. Masa tu aku mula lah merepek mengaban semua. Apa yang aku cakap dan apa yang aku tulis is differ. Sebaiklaa yang interviewers tu semua laki (2 org). So cool je la kannn

After about ten minutes bersendirian,keluar and you have to wait for others member of your group being interviewed.

Masa tu aku sembang sakan lah ngan die orang. Alhamdulillah aku dapat group yang ramah kahkahkah. And ade la kite org sembang2 sikit pasal case study tu.

Secondly, after the last people in your group dah keluar, korang akan dipanggil semula ke bilik yang sama and in group korang akan duduk dalam bulatan atas kerusi discuss about all of your opinion and summary whether you agreed or not agreed. And only one person will have to present about the sum up so my nice advise is the person is you :D masa berbincang tu masa tuu lah kene jadi dominant. Jangan senyap je bila dah dalam group tapi jangan conquer lah.

Okay then after the interview session habis, #thatfeeling wahh lega gila! Pastu break time, makan disediakan and solat. Then get ready for the Assessments.

About the Assessments. Don’t worry they will never be in black and white. Nowadays they will use online test. And do visit Cambridge Assessments. Test yourself by doing the past year papers of TSA that was organized by Cambridge.

First is about a test on your quality and about yourself so you have to be yourself when you answering this questions. But be careful with time. They do kill! Kahkahkah

Next is TSA. Thinking Skills Assessments. My brother said that A levels students jer take part in this subject. So if you have a levels siblings do have their help in this assessments.

And also be careful with time. You may skip tough question and start over.

It aint easy and it aint tough but if you fully prepared InsyaAllah, Allah will help
